What calling media should I use during lessons?

• If your URL begins with https://user.7speaking.com, there are two types of media: built-in video or Teams. Please note that this depends on the offer subscribed to by your company.

If your lesson is in integrated video, you must go to the "Lesson Space" section of the "Live communication" section to find the link to the session.

 

By default, you arrive on the page below, 5 minutes before your lesson:

 When your lesson starts, a "Welcome to Class" page will appear and your computer will test your equipment.  The test starts when all 3 buttons are green and you need to click the "Next" button to continue:

 

A 2nd series of tests begins to check your Video, Microphone and Audio outputs:

 

Be careful, you have to click on the first two squares and then on "Test Sound" to be able to click on the third square. The test is then complete.

If the lesson is via TEAMS, it is your trainer who sends you a TEAMS invitation directly by email before the start of the lesson.

• If your URL begins with https://learner.7speaking.com, the lessons can be on TEAMS or on Whereby (video conference).

If the lesson is via TEAMS, it is your trainer who sends you a TEAMS invitation directly by email before the start of the lesson.

If the lesson is via the integrated Whereby video, you will receive a reminder email 30 minutes before the start of your lesson with the link to the session. You can also find the link to this lesson on your platform in the booked courses tab and by clicking on the lesson link.

 

We advise you to connect to the link at the scheduled time of your lesson to avoid any inconvenience.
